Job Title: Truck Installation Technician

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Installation Technician for a leading company in the commercial truck equipment industry. This role involves working under the direction of the Shop Supervisor to install various specialty truck equipment such as service utility bodies, stake bodies, dump bodies, hitches, and other commercial truck accessories.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install truck bodies, plows, commercial truck accessories, including mounting hitches, shelves, drawers, ladder racks, mud flaps, etc.
- Follow all safety protocols and comply with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Work collaboratively with other mechanics and train as needed.
- Assist with basic welding tasks (metal and aluminum).
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
- Build and interpret electrical wiring schematics.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Shop Supervisor/Manager.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of welding experience (metal and aluminum).
- 2+ years of electrical wiring experience.
- Experience building and interpreting electrical schematics.
- Solid knowledge of complex hydraulics (preferred).
- Strong ability to troubleshoot independently.
- Proficient in operating power hand tools (must have basic tools).
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with truck body installations, including specialty bodies (service utility, stake bodies, dump bodies).
- Experience with commercial truck accessories such as hitches, racks, and other installations.
- A basic understanding of complex hydraulics is a plus.
Additional Information:
- Pay Rate: $19 - $25 per hour (based on experience and skill level).
- Expected Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
