Job Title: Landscape and Sprinkler Technician

 

Full Time, weekends as needed $22.00 - $30.00/hr DOE

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Landscape and Sprinkler Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both landscape maintenance and sprinkler system installation, repair, and maintenance. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a love for working outdoors, and the ability to provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Landscape Maintenance:

    • Mow, trim, and edge lawns, ensuring a neat and manicured appearance.
    • Plant, prune, and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and other plants.
    • Install and maintain landscape features, such as mulching, edging, and decorative elements.
    • Ensure proper irrigation, fertilization, and pest control practices for plant health.

  • Sprinkler System Installation and Maintenance:

    • Install new sprinkler systems, ensuring proper design and coverage for clients’ landscaping needs.
    • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain existing sprinkler systems, including heads, valves, pipes, and controllers.
    • Perform regular system inspections and adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
    • Winterize sprinkler systems during colder months to prevent damage.

  • Customer Service:

    • Interact with customers professionally, answering questions and addressing concerns regarding landscaping and sprinkler systems.
    • Provide recommendations for improving landscape health and sprinkler efficiency.

  • Safety & Compliance:

    • Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery and handling landscaping equipment.
    • Adhere to local regulations and codes related to landscaping and irrigation systems.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further technical education or certifications in landscaping, horticulture, or irrigation preferred.
  • Proven experience in landscaping and sprinkler system installation and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of irrigation systems and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
