Job Full Description
A local manufacturing company is seeking a temporary HR generalist to support their HR Manager with executing the daily transactions for the HR department. This includes a wide variety of HR related duties including some talent acquisition, pay and leave administrative duties, record keeping/data entry duties, involvement with HR program administration and some day to day Ask HR questions.
As HR Generalist, you would be:
- Partnering with hiring managers to recruit and onboard non-exempt employees and contract temporary employees.
- Administer biweekly payroll and employee leaves
- Serve as first point of contact to answer daily employee or 3rd party questions
- Maintain accurate and up-to -date human resource files, records and documentation
- Assist site HR manager with HR programs and projects such as benefits enrollment, engagement surveys, handbook updates
- other duties as assigned
You may qualify for the HR Generalist position if you:
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Proficient with MS Office and other software
- Have knowledge of HRIS and talent management systems
- Have 3+ years of HR experience
- Earned a bachelor's degree in HR or related field
