Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and certified Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to safely and efficiently load, unload, and transport goods throughout the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of forklifts, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move materials and products within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas.
- Assist with order picking, staging, and shipping preparations.
- Perform regular equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Collaborate with other warehouse team members to meet daily goals.
Requirements:
- Valid forklift certification (must be current).
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Strong commitment to safety and operational efficiency.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with different types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks, etc.).
- Previous experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
