Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with HVAC systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to providing top-quality service to our clients. Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) for residential and commercial clients.
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify HVAC system issues.
- Repair or replace faulty HVAC components, such as compressors, motors, thermostats, and more.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of HVAC systems.
- Perform system start-ups and shut-downs and ensure proper calibration of equipment.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Communicate clearly with clients to explain issues, provide estimates, and offer solutions.
- Maintain accurate service records and reports of work performed.
- Respond to emergency service calls as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete large-scale HVAC projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure company tools and equipment are in good condition.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician with a strong understanding of HVAC systems.
- EPA certification or equivalent for handling refrigerants.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and refrigeration.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or training preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with commercial HVAC systems.
- Experience in system design or energy-efficient systems.
