Job Full Description

SUMMARY: Perform accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll bookkeeper functions. Establishment and maintenance of financial records, and the periodic reporting of results to the owners. Maintain Human Resource records and procedures. Other duties as listed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Accounts Receivable
Complete First Edits & Final edits of invoices in QB.
Bill all retentions held when job is completed in AF..
Prepare weekly customer open invoice report.
Follow up on past due invoices for payment collections.
Make collection calls daily or as needed.
Prepare uncollectable debt recommendations and file mechanics liens.
Collect completed job folders from Administrative Managers office daily.
Post and prepare daily deposit.
Perform bank deposits as needed.
Prepare and process lien releases as required.
Reconcile between Quick Books and Action Flow.
Reconciliation of Bank Accounts and Credit Cards Monthly.

Accounts Payable
Track all purchase orders.
Match all packing slips and/or delivery tickets to purchase orders.
Ensure payable invoice quantities and prices match packing slip and purchase order.
Identify discrepancies and notify the originator of purchase order or Department Manager.
Code and post payable invoice.
Cut checks for payable invoice.
Review vendor statements, verify to company accounts payable records.
Maintenance of the aged Accounts Payable.

Payroll
Process weekly payroll.
Maintenance of the payroll records.
Prepare and process weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll tax reports and payments for Government Reporting and Workman’s Comp Audits.

Human Resources
Orientation of all new employees.
Health, dental, and vision insurance administration.
CO Secure Save administration
Provide overall company human resources management and assist employees and management with human resources expertise.
Ensure that Sol Granite is Up To Date with any new laws, and is in compliance with all laws.
Manage employee records administration, including monthly benefits status.
Maintain company HR policy/procedures manual and employee handbook.
Provide local, state, and federal regulatory compliance review and liaison.
Prepare workers compensation report and forms as needed.
Update OSHA forms when accidents.
Submit Annual OSHA Reporting Annually.
Handle and administer any workers compensation claims.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
Complete and turn in ALL Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Checklists to Owner.
Implement changes to the Business Management Software to ensure accurate accounting and accurate Financials through mapping of Action Flow and Quickbooks.

EDUCATION/SKILLS REQUIRED:
Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field, or equivalent would be helpful.
Mathematical skills sufficient to price, computing discounts, and tallying complete quotations and invoices.
Sitting and standing for long periods.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
Basic accounting skills (debits and credits).
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Mathematical and analytical skills in developing and interpreting financial records.
Ability to organize, interpret and analyze data and financial reports.
Ability to protect the reputation and integrity of others through strict confidentiality.
Demonstrate a high level of trust.
Ability to communicate well, both verbally and written.
Knowledge of current policies, procedures, and programs for construction companies.
Detail-oriented and VERY ORGANIZED.
Strong organizational skills, effective communication skills.
Good presentation skills.
Ability to communicate with all employees within the company in English.
Ability to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines thru effective time management.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel).
