Company in Danbury, CT is actively seeking an Inventory Control Specialist. This is a part-time, temp-to-perm position.
This person will be inside, physically counting the inventory at the facility. This person is responsible for counting items with 100% accuracy and report back to administration. (These are cycle counts; you will be physically counting inventory at least 1x per month)

- Learn and understand the computer system; develop system to better utilize the inventory module – ie: bar coding
- Question and investigate thoroughly all inventory adjustments and understand the affect they have on the financials
- Be responsible for proper documentation of all inventory adjustments
- Clean up old inventory items In the system
- Report to upper management
- Be innovative
- Learn and understand pricing/costing
- Cycle counts and Physical inventory control, coordination and implementation
- Work with staff to learn inventory products, where each product is stored and suggest inventory organization
