Job Full Description

 

• Perform precision work to exacting tolerances and dimensions, revising design and/or substituting materials based on machinability or fabrication problems encountered, and problem solves as needed
• Fabricate mechanical parts using manual mill, manual lathe and other metal working equipment
• Rework of parts tooling and fixtures
• Knowledge in measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Machine/shop maintenance activities
• Tool room stocking responsibilities
• Work and clearly communicate with production operator to resolve issues with fixtures, tools & dies
• Minimum of 4 years of related experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience
• High school diploma required
