Responsibilities and Duties
This position acts as a primary liaison between our customers, vendors, sales team, and production staff. Receiving and processing customer orders, inquiries, and purchasing raw materials required for the manufacturing process. Scheduling production and shipments with plant manager. Tracking order activity and maintaining warehouse inventories and replenishments. Heavy phone and email communication. Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook as well as ability to learn industry specific software a must. Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to work with fractions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Associates degree or higher preferred
- Two years of customer service experience in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing, industrial or distribution environment
- Experience with manufacturing systems/process flow
