Express Employment Professionals Meriden is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as an Talent Acquisition Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placing candidates for various industrial positions across different industries. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruitment, sales, and quality control, with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and recruiting candidates for industrial positions through various channels, including online job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
- Screening and interviewing candidates to assess their skills, qualifications, and fit for available positions.
- Building and maintaining a strong candidate pipeline to meet current and future hiring needs.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients to understand their hiring requirements and provide them with top-quality candidates.
- Collaborating with clients to ensure a smooth recruitment process, including coordinating interviews, conducting reference checks, and facilitating job offers.
- Providing exceptional customer service to both clients and candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Meeting and exceeding recruitment targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business growth.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of candidate and client interactions in the company's database.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment process.
- Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and staffing.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in industrial recruitment, with a focus on screening, interviewing, and placing candidates in manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, or similar industries.
- Sales skills with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
- Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and clients.
- Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Microsoft Office and experience using recruitment software or applicant tracking systems.
- Work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
