Job Full Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Motor Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in repairing and maintaining motors, engines, and related mechanical systems. You will be responsible for diagnosing and fixing mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring that motors run efficiently and safely.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm
Compensation: $18-30/hr DOE
Location: Middletown, CT
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests on motors and engines to identify issues.
- Repair and replace damaged or worn-out parts.
- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure motors are operating at optimal levels.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems.
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed, including parts used.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
- Work as part of a team to meet departmental goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Motor Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of motor systems, engines, and mechanical components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and repair tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
