Job Details

We are seeking an experienced PCB (Printed Circuit Board) Repair Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex PCB assemblies, ensuring they meet all specifications and quality standards. The PCB Repair Specialist will collaborate with the engineering and production teams to develop repair plans, execute repairs, and provide technical support as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair PCB assemblies to component level, using schematic diagrams, test equipment, and other diagnostic tools.
• Analyze root cause of failures and provide recommendations to improve product reliability and yield.
• Develop and execute repair plans in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize PCB design and repair processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of repair activities, including test results, component replacements, and repair instructions.
• Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and vendors to resolve technical issues and provide technical support as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to PCB repair and testing.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in PCB repair and testing.
• Knowledge of electronic components, circuitry, and schematics.
• Experience using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
• Familiarity with IPC standards for PCB assembly and repair.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work on various types of PCB assemblies and in a fast-paced environment.
