A global leader in supplying metallurgical wire used by steel manufacturers worldwide is seeking a Wire Technician to join it’s small but mighty team in Canaan, CT. The candidate would be joining one of only a few companies in the world that produces calcium used to enhance various steel manufacturing processes.
Candidates will enter as Entry Level I Technician with a very competitive rate of pay and have the opportunity to advance to Level IV and beyond with excellent on-the-job training. Our client also offers a very attractive benefits package upon full-time hire after an evaluation period.

• Mechanical aptitude
• Attention to detail
• Fast learner
• Ability to measure and enter data accurately
• Ability to stand on feet throughout entire shift
• Ability to maneuver heavy objects using overhead crane
• Safety conscious
• Previous machines operation and forklift experience a plus
