We seek diligent and reliable Commercial Cleaners. As a Commercial Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in commercial spaces such as offices, retail stores, restaurants, and other businesses. Your attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality cleaning services will contribute to creating a welcoming and safe environment for employees and customers alike.
Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in various commercial settings.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures, ensuring they are stocked with essential supplies.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors to maintain a clear and streak-free appearance.
- Wipe down surfaces such as desks, tables, countertops, and door handles to remove dirt, fingerprints, and smudges.
- Refill dispensers for soap, hand sanitizer, and paper towels as required.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure effective and safe cleaning practices.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals.
- Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient cleaning operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cleaner or janitor, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks while standing, bending, stooping, and lifting.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and management.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in cleaning or janitorial services.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations pertaining to cleaning practices.
- Experience operating commercial cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and pressure washers.
