Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced MIG Aluminum Welder to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MIG welding, specifically with aluminum materials, and a keen eye for detail to ensure precision and quality in their work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding on aluminum materials to produce high-quality welds that meet company standards and specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Set up welding machines and select appropriate settings for various aluminum welding tasks.
- Prepare and align aluminum parts and components before welding.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of welding equipment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in welding technology or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a MIG Welder, specifically with aluminum materials.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong understanding of welding techniques, equipment, and safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy materials.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Additional certifications in welding or metal fabrication.
- Familiarity with other welding processes (e.g., TIG and aluminum welding).
