Express Employment Professionals of Bradenton, FL is currently searching for a qualified and experienced Facility Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing facility in the Bradenton, FL area.
Duties:
- Install and maintain production machinery, such as pneumatic and hydraulic presses and automated saws.
- Maintain grounds and other factory equipment.
- Provide emergency or unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production hours with minimal down time.
- Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting and repair of production machinery.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines/equipment.
Requirements:
- Must be able to use a variety of hand/power tools and electric meters while performing duties.
- Must comply with safety guidelines and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Must be able to withstand working in a non-air conditioned workplace.
- Position requires rigorous standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing.
- Perform basic mathematical operations.
- Possess basic knowledge of machinery, plumbing, and electrical repair.
