Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals of Bradenton, FL is hiring a Forklift Operator for an HVAC unit and appliance Distributor located in the Bradenton/Sarasota, FL area.
Duties:
- Operate forklifts to move goods and materials throughout the warehouse or facility.
- Load and unload products from trucks or storage areas, ensuring that materials are stacked and stored correctly.
- Inspect forklifts before each use to ensure they are in good working condition and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns.
- Accurately follow instructions for handling, loading, and unloading materials.
- Keep track of inventory and document material movements as required by company protocols.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including picking and packing orders.
Requirements:
- Prior forklift certification and proven experience as a forklift operator.
- Ability to operate a forklift (e.g., stand-up, sit-down, and pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability too fit 50 lbs.
- Basic math and inventory management skills.
