Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals of Bradenton, FL is currently hiring for a PT Deli employee for a company located in the Lakewood Ranch/Sarasota area.
Duties:
- Slice and prepare deli meats, cheeses, salads, and other ready-to-eat items. They may also prepare sandwiches or hot food items for customers.
- Ensure that the deli area is clean, well-organized, and meets food safety and hygiene standards.
- Stay informed about the deli’s offerings, including different varieties of meats, cheeses, and other products, as well as any promotions or sales.
- Assist with stocking shelves, maintaining stock levels, and rotating inventory to minimize waste.
- Operating a cash register
Requirements:
- Prior Deli experience required.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to operate deli equipment, including slicers and scales.
- Basic math skills to handle pricing and transactions.
- Prior Deli experience is required.
