Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals of Bradenton, FL is currently hiring for a Shipping/Receiving associate for a company that Assembles Silk Plants located in the Sarasota, FL area.
Duties:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of silk plants and related materials for accuracy and quality.
- Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments according to company and customer specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and receiving logs.
- Ensure all shipments meet quality standards and prevent damage during transportation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and order fulfillment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy packages (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Knowledge of shipping procedures, packaging techniques, and warehouse best practices is required
