Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals of Bradenton, FL is currently hiring for a Irrigation Tech for a HOA Community located in the Lakewood Ranch, FL area.
Duties:
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of irrigation systems to detect leaks, broken lines, or malfunctioning components.
- Adjust irrigation systems to ensure proper coverage and distribution of water.
- Replace or repair defective parts such as sprinkler heads, valves, piping, or control systems.
- Program and troubleshoot irrigation controllers and timers.
- Monitor water usage and recommend water conservation practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Irrigation Technician or similar role.
- Ability to read blueprints and irrigation design plans.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors and lift heavy equipment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work outside in ALL climate conditions
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach and pull for up to 7-8 hours per day.
