Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals of Bradenton, FL is currently hiring for a Service Write for the Fleet Department within a Municipality in Bradenton, Fl.
Duties:
- Provides customer service by greeting customers, gathering accurate and thorough vehicle and contact information from customers.
- Responds to questions and/or concerns from vehicle operator regarding work performed.
- Prepares work order for service and repair, responds to requests and provides information as needed.
- Diagnoses and prioritizes problems regarding safety/out of service criteria.
- Responsible to scheduling and monitoring all work performed by vendors.
- Monitors vehicle ready and repair line and motor pool line.
- Tracks and coordinates accident repairs and warranty work.
- Schedules requests for road maintenance and tire service.
- Completes daily, weekly, and monthly fuel and yard reports. Follows all policies and procedures of the Purchasing Department on all Fleet purchases.
- Cultivate inclusive and respectful working relationships that support a sense of belonging for citywide personnel.
- Assist with fuel management system.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of maintenance and repair of heavy equipment, trucks, and engines powered by gasoline and diesel.
- Knowledge of customer service procedures and techniques.
- Knowledge of parts, equipment and supplies used in the repair and maintenance of automotive vehicles and equipment
- Demonstrate safe work practices.
- Ability to use computerized office systems.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and coordinate work orders and activities effectively.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Ability to work safely and support a culture of workplace safety.
