Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring for a 2nd Shift Fabricator with a great company located in the Bradenton, FL area.
Duties:
- Develops layout and plans sequence of operations, applying knowledge of stock allowances for thickness, machine and welding shrinkage, and physical properties of metal.
- Must have bending, cutting and shearing experience.
- Sets up and operates fabricating machines, such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, and drill presses.
- Designs and constructs templates and fixtures.
- Verifies conformance of work pieces to specifications, using square, ruler, and measuring tape.
- May set up and operate machine tools associated with fabricating, such as radial drill press, end mill, and edge planer.
Requirements:
- Must have 3-4 years of consistent prior Fabrication exp.
- Brazing experience preferred but not required
- Must have the ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Prior experience with brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters and drill presses are required
- Must be able to read a micrometer and a tape measurer.
Hours of work:
- Train on 1st Shift for 2-3 weeks, after 4:00pm-1:30am Monday-Thursday
