Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals of Bradenton, FL is currently hiring for a Order Puller for a Distribution Center located in the Sarasota, FL area.
Duties:
- Accurately pull and prepare upholstery materials and products based on customer orders and pick lists.
- Verify the correctness of items pulled by checking quantities and product descriptions against order slips.
- Safely handle and transport upholstery materials, ensuring that products are not damaged during the picking and packing process.
- Inspect items for quality and report any discrepancies or defects to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as required.
- Maintain accurate records of items picked, packed, and shipped.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in a warehouse or order pulling role is required.
- Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- May require lifting and moving items weighing up to 50+ lbs.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Shipping/Receiving experience preferred but not required
- Forklift experience preferred but not required.
