Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals of Bradenton, FL is currently hiring for an Industrial Electrician for a Mechanical Maintenance company located in the Bradenton/Sarasota, FL area.
Duties:
-Troubleshoot causes of electrical failures.
-Install VFDs, generators, electrical motors, and automatic power transfer switches.
-Prepare sketches for electrical layout and installations.
-Calculate line leads to determine capacity, wire sizes, and equipment sizes.
-Knowledge of and adherence to all NEC requirements.
-Knowledge of testing, safety, and process-sensing equipment.
-Ability to interpret complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and piping layouts.
-Ability to work independently and as a team member to complete daily activities according to the work schedule.
-Ability to understand, follow, and transmit written and oral instructions.
-Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
-Regular in-person attendance.
Requirements:
-Valid Driver’s License (required).
-High school diploma or equivalent (required).
-Industrial Electrician Experience: 4+ years (required).
-The ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and piping layouts. (required).
-Troubleshooting Experience with 3-phase installations: 4+ years (preferred).
-Electrical Contractors License (preferred).
-Experience working/coordinating with FPL (preferred).
-Knowledge of local agencies' permitting and inspection policies (preferred).
