Express Employment Professionals of Bradenton, FL is currently hiring for a Forklift Operator for a company located in the Bradenton, FL area.
Duties:
- Load and unload flooring products such as tiles, planks, and rolls from trucks or storage areas.
- Move and organize materials within the warehouse or production area to ensure they are easily accessible.
- Assist with inventory control by accurately tracking and documenting the movement of flooring materials.
- Ensure materials are stored properly to prevent damage and maintain their quality.
- Operate forklifts and possibly other machinery, such as pallet jacks or lift trucks, to transport materials efficiently.
- Navigate tight spaces and manage loads carefully to prevent damage to the flooring products.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements, including quantities, locations, and condition of the products.
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or similar setting, preferably with knowledge of handling flooring materials.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Strong attention to detail to handle materials carefully and accurately.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and keep the workspace tidy.
- Requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods. Must be able to handle heavy loads and operate machinery safely.
