Job Full Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Landscape Detailer to take charge of the beautification and aesthetic appeal of our prestigious property. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining the club’s landscape, ensuring that all areas are impeccably presented and contribute to an exceptional member and guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Property Beautification: Lead all efforts related to the beautification of the property, including designing, planting, and maintaining gardens, flower beds, and decorative landscapes.
- Landscape Design: Develop and implement creative landscape designs that enhance the visual appeal of the club, aligning with seasonal themes and member expectations.
- Plant Health & Care: Ensure the health and vitality of all plants, trees, and shrubs through proper care, including watering, fertilizing, pruning, and pest control.
- Grounds Maintenance: Perform detailed maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, mulching, and weeding to keep all outdoor areas pristine and inviting.
- Irrigation Management: Oversee the maintenance and operation of irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering and conservation practices.
- Seasonal Displays: Plan and execute seasonal plantings and decorative displays, creating visually stunning environments throughout the year.
- Pest & Weed Control: Implement effective pest and weed control measures to maintain the beauty and health of the landscapes.
- Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain all landscaping tools and equipment, ensuring they are in top condition for efficient use.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Grounds Manager and other staff to coordinate landscaping activities and projects, ensuring consistency and quality across the property.
- Safety Standards: Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety protocols and ensuring that all landscaping practices meet regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in landscaping, horticulture, or grounds maintenance, with a focus on high-end properties or golf courses.
- Design Skills: Strong ability to create and implement landscape designs that enhance the visual appeal of the property.
- Horticultural Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of plants, soil health, pest control, and irrigation systems.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of landscape presentation.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to take initiative, work independently, and lead small teams when necessary.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
