Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trailer Assembler/Production Specialist to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, and finishing trailers according to company specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate has experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment, a strong work ethic, and excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Trailer Assembly: Assemble trailers from start to finish using tools, equipment, and assembly instructions.
  • Welding and Fabrication: Perform light welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks as needed (if applicable).
  • Quality Control: Inspect assembled trailers to ensure they meet company and industry standards for safety and quality.
  • Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and handle parts and materials required for trailer production.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly instructions to complete tasks accurately.
  • Tool Operation: Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and effectively during the assembly process.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any issues that arise during assembly or production.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines and goals.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in trailer assembly, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency with hand and power tools.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
    • Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
    • Comfortable working in various conditions, including hot, cold, and noisy environments.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Welding or fabrication certification is a plus.
  • Forklift certification is a bonus.

Work Environment:
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. The position may require occasional overtime to meet production deadlines. Safety is a top priority, and all team members are expected to follow company safety guidelines at all times.
