Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry and woodworking, with a strong focus on precision and quality. As a Carpenter in our organization, you will be responsible for constructing custom medical equipment, collaborating with designers and engineers, and ensuring that all products meet rigorous safety and durability standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications for custom medical equipment.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, laminates, and other materials for fabrication projects.
• Operate a variety of woodworking machinery, tools, and equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform finishing tasks such as sanding, staining, and painting to meet design requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other team members to ensure accuracy and functionality in every project.
• Conduct quality checks on completed products to ensure they meet company and industry standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist in material selection and procurement based on project specifications.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter, preferably in custom fabrication or a related field.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe workspace.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or vocational training in carpentry is a plus.
