Job Summary:
The Housekeeper/Custodial Worker is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the country club, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for members, guests, and staff. This role involves cleaning and sanitizing designated areas, restocking supplies, and addressing immediate housekeeping needs during events or operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Cleaning:
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, offices, dining areas, and recreational spaces.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
- Vacuum, mop, and sweep floors in assigned areas.
- Laundry Services:
- Launder, fold, and restock towels and linens as needed.
- Trash Removal:
- Empty trash bins and recycling receptacles; ensure proper disposal in designated areas.
- Stocking & Inventory:
- Replenish cleaning supplies, paper products, and toiletries in all areas.
- Special Events:
- Assist with setup and cleanup before and after events.
- Address immediate housekeeping requests during events.
- Maintenance Reporting:
- Report any damages, repairs, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping, custodial work, or a similar role preferred.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, as required.
