Long Term- Temp to Hire Opportunity
The Accounting Associate is part of the Accounting team and will report to the Site Controller. The Accounting Associate is responsible for providing accounts receivable and accounting support to Site Controller.
TASKS

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Process accounts receivable payments via checks, ACH, Wires, and credit cards.
- Verify Invoice posting to customers is complete daily. Ensure the clearing accounts are clean, all deliveries have been invoiced, and all invoices have been emailed to customers.
- Review customer invoices for overall accuracy and taxation.
- Process all credit memos.
- Process and distribute monthly customer statements.
- Contact customers with delinquent accounts.
- Review and release credit holds.
- Monitor customer accounts for credit term adjustments as necessary.
- Review and advise on creditworthiness of new customers.
- Assist in the arrangement of financing for customers with lenders.
- Run and distribute AR Aging and metric reports
- Reconcile the AR Ledger to the subledger monthly
- Reconcile the AR to the BI Dashboard
- Run and distribute month end reports for credits issued and reasoning
- Perform other accounting and clerical functions to support Controller.
MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to create and maintain moderately complex spreadsheets.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and operation of office equipment.
- Experience with Sage is preferred.
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently as needed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
