Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Located in the Leesburg Area
Pay: $23 / hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Heavy Equipment Mechanic Summary:
Express is hiring a reliable Heavy Equipment Mechanic for a company in the Leesburg, FL area.
Heavy Equipment Mechanic Responsibilities:
- Work in a hydraulic repair facility to operate and maintain various types of equipment, including to but not limited to loaders, forklifts, excavators and spot trucks
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with general labor duties as needed
Heavy Equipment Mechanic Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience repairing, performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting heavy equipment
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and blueprints
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools and hydraulics
- Experience in brake repair, HVAC, welding, fabrication, or assembly is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
