A reputable local CPA firm in Destin, FL is looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper. If you have a minimum of 4 years of accounting experience or a degree in accounting, this is an exciting opportunity for you! We also welcome new college graduates with an accounting degree to apply.
The ideal candidate will have QuickBooks experience and will be responsible for managing all aspects of bookkeeping, including handling general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage the general ledger
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare and process payroll
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts
- Prepare financial reports and assist with monthly close
- Assist with tax preparation and filing
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of accounting experience or a degree in accounting (new graduates welcome)
- Proficient in QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with clients and colleagues
