Job Summary Sign Production/Graphic Designer
We are looking for a detailed person who can help with production and graphic signs for a local sign company here in Ft Myers.
Job Requirements:
Experience with tools and machinery used in sign production.
Background in graphic design and design software like Flexsign and Adobe
Good eye for aesthetics is required.
Follow layouts to place computer-cut vinyl or full color images.
Prepare substrates for vinyl application, including cutting and lamination.
Operate and maintain printers to ensure proper calibration and accurate output.
Perform finishing operations such as lamination, mounting, and trimming pieces.
Conduct quality control checks by reading and interpreting work orders, proofing for errors, and ensuring that high standards are met.
Maintain inventory levels, report stock needs, and keep the production area clean and organized.
Use light power equipment safely to cut materials to specific sizes and shapes.
Qualifications
1-2 years sign experience
Attention to detail
Standing for long periods of time
Operating printer machine and devices
Multitasking
Graphic experience
Production experience
Valid driver’s license
Position Type: Full Time
