Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals of Fort Myers is teaming up with a local flooring manufacturer in Fort Myers to add an Accounts Payable Clerk to their team! The ideal candidate will have some Accounting knowledge and be able to work well in a fast paced environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for receipt of invoices
- Verification of invoices
- Data entry of invoices into accounting software
- Corresponding with vendors, preparing and processing payments.
- The Accounts Payable Clerk will also assist with other accounting tasks as needed.
Skill/Qualifications:
- Experience with QuickBooks and/or similar accounting software
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- High School Diploma required; Associate''s or Bachelor''s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Must be able to proof text accurately.
- Must be a fast learner with excellent work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily deadlines.
- Attention to detail and multitasking are critical.
- Adaptability is Crucial for Success in this workplace
- Ability to perform well under pressure
