Job Summary QC Tech
We have a stable company in Ft Myers that is looking for a QC Tech. This company manufactures medical devices.
The QC Technician is responsible for performing standardized quality control checks on our products to ensure they meet the required legal and company standards for safety and quality. You may also be required to identify areas for quality control improvement.
The QC Tech carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organizational policies and procedures.
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to assist with production and/or warehouse operations and assignments.
- Assist with developing and maintaining company inspection reports.
- Inspect goods / products according to quality and safety standards.
- Ensure goods / products comply with company , Federal and/or State standards and/or regulations.
- Report quality anomalies to leadership or designee.
- Collate test data and draft quality reports.
- Identify possible areas for improvement in quality control processes.
- Ensure production and/or shipping are not hindered by quality testing procedures.
- Assemble and package products properly for shipment.
- Use and maintain tools to complete necessary tasks.
- Thoroughly test unit to ensure all functions operate properly.
- Log all serial numbers of serialized sections used on order.
- Assists with inventory control such as cycle and physical inventory counts and reports findings and/or discrepancies.
- Quality Control Evaluation and reporting to the Production Supervisor or designee.
- Assist in technical review of all returned materials and assist team members with questions regarding products/orders.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas.
- Maintain proper paperwork/documentation.
- Maintain company safety, OSHA and other regulatory standards.
- Safe operation of equipment.
- Follow company safety policies and participate in Safety Training as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision as well as within a team.
- Manual dexterity, good physical condition and strength, and good balance is needed for safety.
- Must have proficient and basic computer skills and experience for communication such as email, record keeping, documentation, etc., specifically with MS Office applications.
- Must have the ability to safely lift, move, push and/or pull up to fifty (50) pounds. repeatedly, regularly (daily) while maintaining quotas and deadlines.
- Problem solving and trouble shooting skills are needed.
- Must speak, read, and write English and have effective communication skills.
- Must have High School Diploma

Schedule: 7:30am-5pm
