Job Full Description
We are looking for a mechanically inclined person who can help and assist with the installation of radios, scanners, lights, dashboard wires in vehicles. This company does a lot of work with first responder vehicles. Any prior knowledge or experience in installing radios or mobile electrical would be a great fit and would have room for growth into other skilled positions with better pay.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Experience in installing and/or repairing car accessory equipment is a plus
- Experience with vehicle dashboards is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Accurately maintain inventory on vehicle
- Must be responsible and able to work without supervision
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Ability to complete and submit paperwork
- Customer interaction skills are very important
- Basic install, trouble-shoot, & repair of emergency vehicle lighting & siren equipment
- Work in an indoor/outdoor environment
- Soldering is a PLUS
Qualifications:
- Car accessory installs/hookup
- Electronic/Electrical Wiring Knowledge
- Mechanically Inclined
- Customer Service
- Valid Driver’s License
- Operate Tools
- Able to Climb Ladder
- Lift 50 Pounds
- Able to pass a background check and drug screening
