Job Title: Data Analyst – Health & Nutrition Team
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Pay Rate: $23/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

 

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our client’s Program Department as part of the Health & Nutrition Team. This role plays a key part in overseeing, developing, and implementing nutrition education data evaluation efforts. The Data Analyst will support the organization's ability to use data to inform program development, ensure contract compliance, and improve service delivery across the community.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, analyze, and report data related to educational programs and policy initiatives.

  • Develop and maintain tools, protocols, and workflows for accurate data collection and monitoring.

  • Provide training and technical support on data platforms, ensuring compliance with program guidelines.

  • Assist in the development of surveys, metrics, and performance indicators.

  • Prepare regular data reports, dashboards, and grant compliance documentation.

  • Collaborate with program staff and external partners to support data-driven decision-making.

  • Travel regularly within the service region to attend meetings, trainings, and support community initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, health and human services, public health, data science, or a related field (comparable experience may be considered in lieu of degree).

  • Minimum of one year of experience in program evaluation, data management, or office administration, preferably in nonprofit, academic, or service-oriented environments.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be comfortable with public speaking and training facilitation.

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Experience with data visualization or statistical software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

  • Sensitivity to cultural diversity and a commitment to equitable service delivery.

  • Valid Florida driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for daily use.

Additional Information:

  • This is a hybrid position with a combination of office, remote, and community-based work.

  • Attendance at biannual in-person conferences may be required.
