Position: Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Assignment Type: Open-ended Temporary Assignment

We’re partnering with a well-established roofing company in Fort Myers that is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Accurately enter and process vendor invoices and payments

Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices for proper documentation

Reconcile statements and resolve any discrepancies with vendors

Maintain organized files and financial records

Communicate with vendors and internal departments to ensure timely payments

Perform general clerical and administrative support within the accounting department
Requirements:

Previous A/P or general accounting experience required

Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Comfortable working in a construction/office environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems is a plus
