Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill a temporary HR Assistant position for approximately two months. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct initial phone screenings with applicants and schedule interviews with hiring managers.

Responsibilities

  • Initial Phone Screening:
    • Screen incoming applications and resumes to identify qualified candidates.
    • Conduct initial phone interviews with shortlisted candidates to assess their qualifications, experience, and interest in the position.
    • Ask relevant questions to gather information and determine candidate fit.
    • Take detailed notes on each phone interview.
  • Scheduling Interviews:
    • Coordinate with hiring managers to schedule interviews, taking into account their availability and candidate preferences.
    • Send interview confirmations and reminders to both candidates and interviewers.
    • Reschedule interviews as needed, ensuring timely communication with all parties involved.
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of applicants and interview schedules.
    • Assist with other HR tasks as needed, such as data entry or filing.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience in HR Assistant or recruiting new hires required

Position will work day shift, Monday - Friday, for 40 hours per week for approximately 2 months.  Position will pay in the $20.00 - $25.00/hr range depending upon experience.
