Electronic Assembler (15 - 17/hr to start, DOE)
Small start up manufacturing and engineering design firm in Gainesville, FL has immediate need for an entry level electronic assembly technician. This is a full-time position that will last at least 2 months, however, strong performers will be considered for a long-term, permanent opportunity.
Our client specializes in designing and manufacturing high-quality industrial 3D printer components.
Job Overview
Technicians perform a variety of duties centered around quality control and assembly of products.
Daily tasks could include:
-Assembling and/or making final products, including light manufacturing operations
-Inspecting products to ensure they meet engineering specifications and drawings
-Use of hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches, and gauges
-Packaging of final products
-Maintaining inventory levels to prevent stock-out conditions
-Assembling and shipping customer orders.
Requirements
- Detail oriented
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical components
- Experience with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
- Familiarity 3d printing a plus
-HS Diploma or GED
Pay: $15-17/hr to start
Schedule: M-F 8AM-5PM
