Premier wealth management firm with operations in Gainesville, FL has immediate opening for a client services associate.
This is a great position for a recent finance grad passionate about investing that wants to obtain their securities license and pursue a career in the wealth management field.
This position will interact daily with high net worth clients, experienced wealth management professionals, and senior leadership providing an amazing opportunity to gain valuable career experience.
Position Responsibilities:
The Associate’s primary responsibilities and duties include exercising discretion and independent judgment in assisting clients in the administrative servicing of their accounts.
Provide and process client service requests, money movement, and account maintenance on investment accounts.
Open client accounts and complete client, custodian, firm paperwork, reviews, and maintain client transactions and firm tasks such as asset transfer and preparation of reports.
The Associate will interact closely with Partners, advisors, and other management to identify and resolve relevant issues and projects.
Core Job Duties:
· Develop and maintain exceptional client relationships
· Process client’s outgoing and incoming money transfer requests across investment accounts
· Transfers, Checks, Withdrawals, Wires, Journals
· Process client service requests
· Beneficiary updates, address updates, opening accounts, incoming call/phone support
· Proactively address processing inefficiencies
· Coordinate with custodian’s service team
· Assist with seasonal tax-related requests
· Tax Statements, IRA contributions/distributions, Cost Basis
· Assist advisors with client service and document preparation
· Maintain and record accurate documentation of client’s requests and communications
· CRM actions, Email communication, saving forms and confirmations
· Monitor alerts for incoming deposits, new accounts opening, and transfer of assets
· Prepare forms to open new accounts and transfer of assets. Use DocuSign and LaserApp tools for form prep and submission
· Document Scanning and faxing
· Launch and maintain CRM action sequences associated with opening new accounts and
initiating transfers
· Upload, fax, or overnight documents to Schwab and direct vendors
· Collaborate on department and firm workflow and compliance processes in order to fulfill regulatory requirements
Employment Standards:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related Business
curriculum preferred

· Licensing: Series 65 preferred (or a desire to obtain Series 65 license)
· Key Traits: Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, self-starter, work independently and collaboratively, must be able to work successfully in a team atmosphere, have strong customer orientation and interpersonal and communication skills
· Computer Skills: Must be PC proficient with MS Windows operating systems and software programs, including but not limited to Excel Spreadsheets and workbook applications
· Experience: Minimum 2-4 years professional experience in wealth management or financial services environment
