Local Construction Company is looking for qualified Electrical Project Manager
Pay: $65k-95k yearly
Hours: 7:30am-4:30pm
Role and Responsibilities
The Plumbing Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing plumbing commercial projects from inception to completion. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Plumbing Project Manager will work closely with clients, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Ability to manage and motivate teams, including plumbing foreman and other project personnel
- Develop and implement project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resources
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project goals and specifications
- Identify and manage project risks, including potential delays and budget overrun
- Assign tasks, set performance expectations, and provide support and guidance.
- Conduct regular team meetings and project reviews
- Prepare detailed project budgets, including labor, materials, and equipment costs.
- Monitor project expenses and ensure cost control measures are in place.
- Approve and process invoices, change orders, and purchase orders.
- Identify and resolve technical and operational issues as they arise.
- Implement corrective actions to address any project deviations or performance gaps.
- Facilitate problem-solving sessions with team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in plumbing project management
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Basic understanding of construction processes, terminology, and safety practices
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment
- Flexible hours may be required to accommodate project schedules and deadlines
Work Environment
- Travel to project job sites located in Jacksonville and surrounding areas
- Ability to work in both an office setting and field settings
- Basic understanding of construction processes, terminology, and safety practices
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment
