Job Title: HVAC Technician- St. Augustine, Fl.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $19-20/hour
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician with 3–5 years of expertise in servicing and repairing Commercial and Residential Units. The ideal candidate will bring technical skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality service. Applicants must provide their own tools, work clothing, and have a clean background and MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical systems, compressors, condensers, and other components.
- Maintain detailed records of services performed and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3–5 years working on Residential and Commercial systems.
- Tools: Must provide your own set of HVAC tools.
- Background: Clean background check required.
- MVR: Valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
- Work Clothes: Must provide your own professional work clothing.
- Knowledge of refrigeration codes, EPA regulations, and safety standards.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- EPA Universal Certification or equivalent.
- Experience with other commercial HVAC systems (rooftop units, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
