2+ Year Verifiable Commercial Driving Experience
JOB SUMMARY: Drivers are responsible for transporting Sheet Metal HVAC materials from the manufacturing warehouse to customer locations within 5 states using a single-axle truck.
They are also required to perform inspections before and after a trip.
Drivers follow appropriate safety procedures to transport cargo and maintain logs of vehicle repair status and working hours.
Drivers must also unload manufactured HVAC materials from the trailer to customer facilities and/or job sites.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drives truck to customer's place of business. Issues and obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
- Pick up materials as requested.
- Transfer materials from one location to another and unload as needed.
- Listens to and resolves service complaints if possible. Gives feedback to supervisor and sales representative about customer complaints and requirements.
- Cleans inside of truck. Performs routine maintenance checks on truck.
- Complies with all company policies, safety policies and procedures and DOT requirements.
- Works safely and meets the requirements of all safety procedures and rules as prescribed by State, Federal, and the Company.
Other duties will be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Customer service experience a must.
· Ability to work independently, responsibly and meet scheduling requirements.
· Good communication skills both verbal and written.
· Clean MVR
· Consistent job history
· Knowledge of the roads.
· Ability to work under pressure.
· Flexibility.
· Ability to handle unexpected situations (weather, traffic etc)
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and record information. Ability to speak effectively before customers or associates.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and to calculate percent.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Must possess valid CDL class A
