Job Title: Non-CDL Delivery Driver
Location: Sebring, FL
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Non-CDL Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering air conditioning units, parts, and supplies to residential and commercial job sites. The ideal candidate has a valid DOT medical card, a strong work ethic, and excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a company vehicle (box truck or similar) to transport HVAC equipment and materials.
- Load and unload deliveries at warehouses, job sites, and customer locations.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with company and DOT regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any issues.
- Maintain proper documentation, including delivery logs and customer receipts.
- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients and job site personnel.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and secure cargo handling.
- Assist with warehouse duties when not making deliveries, including stocking and organizing inventory.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid DOT Medical Card (required).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver, preferably in the HVAC or construction industry.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (50+ lbs.) regularly.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with local delivery routes and GPS navigation.
- Willingness to comply with company policies, safety standards, and DOT regulations.
