Summary of Position:

The Construction Project Manager (CPM) plays a critical front-line role, interacting directly with customers and vendors while leveraging a deep understanding of each client’s unique situation. This role involves overseeing maintenance programs and providing clients with a single, trusted vendor to help manage and protect their property portfolios.
The CPM ensures quality control by visiting every client site to guarantee the job is done right the first time. We are the go-to resource for commercial property managers and building owners seeking dependable, professional, and cost-effective construction services.
Job Duties:

Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion

Review projects in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs

Monitor on-site and off-site construction for compliance with safety and building regulations

Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
-
Ensure performance meets all contractual conditions

Monitor daily work progress and site activity
-
Prepare internal and external reports related to job status
-
Proactively forecast and resolve emerging issues
-
Obtain necessary permits for all projects
-
Analyze, manage, and mitigate project risks
-
Ensure quality standards and proper construction techniques are followed

Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
-
Degree or formal education in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field
-
A combined 5+ years of direct/on-site experience in construction project management with a proven track record of successful completion

Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods
-
Expertise in building products, construction details, and applicable regulations and quality standards

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Familiarity with construction management software; CompanyCam experience is highly desirable

Must wear appropriate PPE per job site requirements (steel-toed boots, hard hats, safety vests)
Working Conditions:

Frequently moves about construction job sites

Frequently operates equipment such as laptops, cell phones, power tools, and company vehicles

Occasionally ascends/descends ladders

Frequently stoops, kneels, crawls, or crouches as job requires

Must be able to clearly communicate information to others and exchange accurate information

Constant exposure to outdoor weather conditions
