Now Hiring an Inventory Control Clerk SUMMARY Under general supervision, maintains, processes, records, and documents materials in inventory and on order. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchase requisitions as required; tracks orders and investigates problems. Monitors reorder points and initiates action to replenish stock. Reconciles discrepancies in inventories and notifies supervisor of irregularities. Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports. Inspects receipts for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel. Process and document returns as required by following established procedures. Pick/kit materials, parts, and products from inventory based on required documents. Deliver items to requisitioning departments and obtains authorized signatures for accepted items. Performs routine clerical duties including data entry and assisting customers. Traces lost shipments and/or customer claims of lost shipments; initiates proof of delivery documents. Maintain department database, prepare routine reports and file receiving and issuing records. Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or carts in loading and unloading supplies and equipment; may operate forklift, and/or company vehicle to pick up and deliver shipments; may assist in routine maintenance of equipment and stockroom area. Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, and environmental control standards. Prepare routine administrative paperwork, receive, track, stock, and distribute materials, supplies, equipment, and/or deliver goods. Full Time $15-$19/hour DOE
