Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Clerk to join our team at our Hialeah 33012 location. The Billing Clerk will be responsible for accurately preparing and processing invoices, maintaining records, and ensuring prompt billing and payment cycles. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in billing software, and a commitment to providing excellent support to our clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and issue accurate invoices for metallic products in accordance with company pricing and client agreements.
  • Verify and reconcile sales orders, shipping documents, and purchase orders before billing.
  • Maintain and update customer accounts, including payment histories and billing details.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies by working closely with the sales, shipping, and customer service teams.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding invoices and communicate with customers regarding payment status.
  • Prepare and distribute regular financial and billing reports to management.
  • Assist with the month-end closing process and ensure all invoices are accounted for.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding financial transactions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries related to invoices or payments.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Billing Clerk, Accounts Receivable Clerk, or similar role.
  • Familiarity with billing software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers.
  • Knowledge of the metallic products industry is a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule:
