Job Full Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CAD Drafter with strong proficiency in Autodesk Inventor to join our engineering and design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings and 3D models for manufacturing and production purposes. This role requires close collaboration with engineers, project managers, and production teams to ensure all designs meet quality, safety, and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.

Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and technical data to create drawings for fabrication and assembly.

Modify and revise existing designs based on engineering changes or project requirements.

Prepare Bill of Materials (BOMs), exploded views, and part documentation.

Ensure that drawings comply with company and industry standards (ANSI, ISO, etc.).

Collaborate with engineers and manufacturing teams to resolve design issues.

Maintain organized digital drawing files and document revisions.

Support prototyping and product development as needed.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or technical certification in Drafting or Engineering Technology preferred.

2+ years of CAD drafting experience, with a focus on Autodesk Inventor.

Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Knowledge of sheet metal, fabrication, and mechanical assembly is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
