Job Description:
As an Industrial Electrical Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of the electrical systems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot electrical equipment, including motors, controls, and instrumentation.
- Troubleshooting: Repaid of Controls and electrical systems in a water and wastewater industrial equipment environment.
- Installation: Install boxes, panels, transformers, industrial control panels, and pull and terminate new wires and cables to current NEC Electrical codes to support new equipment and current Equipment upgrades.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, promoting a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
Qualifications:
- Technical diploma or vocational training in electrical engineering or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in the field.
- Working with 120/208 and 277/480 VAC Electrical Systems.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
- Must be able to use existing HMI and PLC Interface to operate and troubleshoot equipment controls.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Needs to be Bilingual, English & Spanish Required.
Physical Requirements:
- Heavy work. More than 30 pounds of force/lifting.
